There was a lovely choice of cold and hot food for brunch. It is a buffet type place with drinks served at the table. Hot food included- omelette, sausages, potato bake, boiled potatoes. Cold food- different breads, cheeses, hams, fruit and yogurt. There is someting for everyone. Great drink choice included fresh pressed juices orange juice, which was just what I needed. Quite small, but this is just the standard in Berlin, however if you are going as a couple you should have too much trouble. If you come in a group like we did it might be slightly more difficult, however we managed.Food is £11 per person for brunch. I would for sure come back.
Just fantastic. Great food and cheap drinks. What else could you want? Once more fantastic settings for a great evening. Truly friendly service and quite a selection great cosmonautic treats. Worth a visit, just for the heck of it.
Gagarin is located facing the Wassersturm. It is next to the Rykestrasse Synagogue and by three other restaurants, Masel Topf, Umami and it's real competitor Pasternak, which is next door and has a slightly better location but whose food is not quite as good. The Sunday brunch is good and sitting outside is a pleasure unless it's cold and rainy. I have had breakfast and Sunday brunch there. I would recommend it for both.
I lived in Prenzlauerberg for a while and a must was the Sunday brunch at the Gagarin. Large buffet, good juices and soft drink, it was 12EUR years ago, they might have raised the price, dunno....it would be worth it anyway!
