Another great dinner at enoteca L’ angolino: leave behind the staff of the earth, the first-class Italian food served. while other “Italians” try too hard to create claudio and its crew authentic to stay “but” super friendly among all the circumstances very rare in berlin. enjoy

We ate here twice as fast service, pleasant eating outside, excellent eating and wine. much better than two other Italian restaurants in the neighbourhood we tried.

We enjoyed a light dinner with calamari salad, bread and wine. The salad was lightly salted to bring out the taste of the calamari, the Chianti was medium body and smooth and the service was prompt for the meal. Getting the check was slow, but...no one was pressuring us to leave. It was a relaxing European experience.

The limited menu is in part because the entire German menu is not translated into English. Great meat appetizer platter and pasta. Service was a bit slow.

I went to this place on the recommendation of the concierge where I was staying. It was not a good meal at all, the meal I had at Aida 200 yards away blew this place away, with the same cuisine. This place had a limited...menu so few choices at all, and even those did not grab me, I settled for the steak and my friend had the ravioli. It took forever for us to get our food, people that came in after us got their food before ours. Even the server apologized and offered us a meat and cheese board to hold us over. It was like an hour. When our food came, my steak was way undercooked and it was an odd size, shape and texture. I did't really care for it. The other meal of my friend was tepid at best also. Service was abysmally slow, short staffed perhaps, and one guy behind the counter doing all the salad and dessert prep and probably one guy in the kitchen too. I cannot believe how highly rated this place is on this site and how bad it really was. Then, earlier in the day I went to Aida down the street and had a great meal. I would suggest anyone reading this to try that place versus this place, which has long since seen its prime and is resting on the fumes of past laurels at best. All locals no tourists for sure. I cannot recommend.
