Caras Gourmet - Berlin

I went to get a coffee and a quick breakfast bite and was surprised by the super friendly and calm energy and very organized and observant way of working of the guy working here (near Potsdamer platz). Lovely start of the day! The food was alright, not much choice and the prices are relatively high for the portions (a croissant cost €1,40 but a small cup of 300ml yoghurt (no vegan options) with a little bit of granola cost €5,30).

The perfect place in Potsdamer Platz. It’s cozy inside and many places to sit outside. A lot of people and cars going by, which makes for a fun session of ”people watching”. Good coffee and nice pastries.

Owner lost his mind because I used the wrong glass for my coke. He made sure everyone knew about it and tried to publicly humiliate me. Also expensive and very average food. Avoid.

Paid 3.90€ for an iced coffee and then got charged 50 cent extra to use toilet. Why would there be a charge toilet after purchasing something? Average coffee average interior. What a rip off.

We stopped here for a coffee and to sit and enjoy the sun on a very warm day.My wifes handbag was snatched/stolen whilst sitting outside.....of course not the Cafes fault but what annoyed me was the 2 members of staff refused any assistance in relation to calling the Police or telling us the location of the nearest Police station.Anyway bag was found nearby underneath a car with phone and money taken but all cards still in bag. Car owner brought bag to Police station.
