We were lucky enough to come here with family. They ordered a seafood antipasto to share and a mix of grilled and fried fish as a second. Was amazing seafood! It was fresh and tasty! They do have pizza and pasta for non seafood lovers and that was amazing just the same! Definetly a hidden gem and if you are in that part of bologna worth going but you must book!

We happened upon this great restaurant by chance and we're so happy we did! You'll need a car to get there, as it's past Bentivoglio, on the main road, about 30 minutes from Bologna. We went for lunch and the place was packed. But it's huge, so there's enough room for everyone. And despite the large number of people, service was fast and efficient. Our waiter, Osvaldo, was very friendly and professional. Food was delicious and portions were huge! They cater to workmen and lorry drivers too. We had a schiacciata to start with crunchy pizza dough with salt and rosemary. A starter wasn't really needed as our pasta mains were very generous. I had the spaghetti allo scoglio spaghetti with seafood). As you can see in the pics, the portion was huge and packed with seafood, all super tasty and fresh. I did struggle to finish it, but I managed, eventually! Oh yes, and I forgot the main thing. My huge main was only €10!!!! I would rate this place a 10 if I could.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure and I have to thank my Bolognas Friends for recommending to us. You must drive or take a taxi that will take you around 30 minutes because it is located on a countryside road outside of the city of Bologna. we 're craving for tasting some of the great seafood that my friends were talking about hours before we get there, and believe it was true. But I must say at the same time they do have pizza and pasta for nonseafood lovers. The difficult part was deciding what to order because you can 't have it all . We had a farewell to the City of Bologna and we cannot speak highly enough of our experience at il Duca Di Bentivoglio Ristorante. but I must say that it was an outstanding food and service.
