Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe came here hoping to enjoy some khachapuri, which we've been missing for over six months. Unfortunately, we were served a completely different dish. The Adjarian khachapuri at Chacha used to be made with melty sulguni cheese, but now it seems to be filled with cottage cheese. We also tried the Imeretian khachapuri, and it had the same sour cheese as the Adjarian version. In the past, their Imeretian khachapuri was made with a pleasantly salty, creamy cheese without any sourness at all. Overall, our visit left us with a bad mood. Interestingly, the dough itself is still the same delicious quality, but the cheese was simply awful.
Lack of customer service: 1. You can't pre-select your dishes, even though you can make a reservation. As a result, we sat and waited an entire hour for a plate from the grill, supposedly because the kitchen had just opened. It's a mystery why the kitchen opens at the same time as guests are seated. 2. The minimalist dessert menu of the restaurant is not compensated for in any way. An elderly gentleman celebrating a jubilee has to go without cake on his special day because you're not allowed to bring your own food into the Chacha. Dear guests, please enjoy our small pieces of pie instead. Otherwise, it’s probably an alright Georgian restaurant.
This small establishment has pleasant background music that isn’t intrusive. The food is delicious! However, the service is a different matter—it’s practically nonexistent. We couldn’t get the waiter’s attention, so we had to get up and look for him ourselves. When we called out, it was unsuccessful. After waiting for 50 minutes and searching for the waiter, the khinkali never arrived, even though we finished everything else we ordered. When I asked when the khinkali would be ready, the waiter fumbled and said it would be 10 minutes. When I inquired why we couldn’t get a hold of him with the dining area being empty, he started arguing and making absurd excuses. This was very frustrating, especially since our time was limited. The combination of waiting for our food and dealing with rudeness definitely ruined our experience. The waiter didn’t even clear the dishes off the table! Andrey, your behavior has completely spoiled our impression of this place!
Chacha in the Fokin District is quite an experience. Given the number of strong competitors in the area, it’s disappointing to see such poor service—it’s truly at rock bottom. Over the past year, things have deteriorated to an alarming extent. Not once has everything gone well during our visits. There's hardly anything on the menu. We ordered and waited. Ten minutes, fifteen minutes, twenty minutes. Eventually, we find out they can't fulfill our order—one item is missing, then another. The waitstaff keeps changing, and they don't seem to be properly trained. The poor girls constantly apologize for the kitchen's shortcomings, visibly embarrassed. If you order for pickup, your order is never ready on time; we’ve been delayed by an hour at times. They leave you with the choice of waiting indefinitely or taking your money and leaving. It used to be good, but now even the food has issues. The khinkali are bitter, and the borscht is tasteless. It's a shame to see loyal customers being lost like this.
I have been to Bezhetsk Café several times, but every time I try to call to reserve a table, no one answers the phone. When I go there in person, I'm told that all the tables are reserved. Even after waiting an hour and returning with the same number of people, nothing changes, and the staff just says they will figure something out. It feels like they simply don't want to work. However, if you persist and keep coming back, they eventually come up with something. Convenient! Service: Dine in.
