Red Wolfe Inn - Belvidere

Just wow. My expectations were high from all the great things I heard, and they were not only fulfilled that they were exceeded. For such a small place with only about a dozen tables and bar seats, it feels even more exclusive to get a table there. Reservations are highly recommended) the menu has a surprisingly large number of options, but everything sounded so well read it. Started with the appetizer Sampler and all five things were delicious. My duck was a 32 oz New York Strip. You have many options for the size of steak that you want, what was really nice. When the steak came, I was shocked how thick it was. It was like a real butcher house. It was perfectly cooked, very delicate, and also not over season. I didn't need steak sauce, but I tried they were homemade steak sauce that came in 2 options. Sweet and spicy. I tried the sweetie and it was delicious. For Dessert we shared a Tres Leches cake, which was also very good. Overall, between the great service we received from our waitress and the excellent quality of food, we made this place a certain new favorite place to dinate. The prices are also fair and you will definitely get what you pay. I wish I could have more than five stars.

Small place with great taste! I had the duck that was amazing and my friend had the steak with garlic potatoes. Fantastic! They also had a Oktober Festival beer on tap in December!! My darling! We definitely come back!

Wow! What a great expedition! If you are looking for a mouth watering steak this is the point. Kelly was excellent and made us feel at home. Can't wait to come back and try the French onion soup.

I'm a well-known pain in my steak. This was my first time at Red Wolf Inn. I can't say enough about the whole experience. This place is in the middle of nowhere. We sat at the bar and ordered from a big beer list. The Calamari was decent as ap. The STRIP STEAKS were fantastic. Perfectly prepared (medium rare to rare, but still hot) and delicious! I'd go back tomorrow.

Easily one of the top 5 meals I have ever had. Every time I took a bite of something, my mind was blown. Even the birch beer was fantastic. Who would have ever thought crumbled blue cheese on steak would be one of the greatest flavors you could taste. Can't wait to go back again and again and again.
