First time visiting here. We ordered brussel sprouts and they were delicious. I normally don't like them cooked because they are always overcooked. These were al dente but had a great crispy outter layer. The sauce was perfectly seasoned. I also had a small lake Caeser salad. We shared margherita pizza and papperdelle Bolognese. Pasta was great except the meat sauce was a little on the salty side. Pizza has a nice thin crust. Flavor was good. I highly recommend this place!
Everything we ordered was delicious, bursting with flavor! The pepperoni pizza was amazing, and the rosemary focaccia bread was so good, especially with the buratta. The best was the pasta, with creamy ricotta in the middle to balance out the strong parmesan cheese sprinkled on top of the fresh-made pasta and tomato sauce. Everything was perfection, but we didn?t even have room for dessert! We were stuffed. 10/10 will come again.
The best Italian in downtown Bellingham! Great ambience inside and covered patio seating outside. We had no wait on a Friday evening for dinner. Our appetizer that was Cicotti Meatballs, which were delicious. Cooked perfectly! The cocktails were both amazing, The Jungle Bird (pineapple rum/hibiscus/Campari) and a Portofino (gin). The service was consistent and friendly. We were able to order and place orders within a reasonable amount of time. Our main dishes tastedgreat! The LUMACHE POMODORO, was very tasty and the ricotta on top was the best part. The pasta had a slight spice from the pepper, but not unmanageable. My partner ordered the CACIO E PEPE, which was delicious. By the time dessert timerolled around we were full, but the tiramisu looked bomb! We will definitely be back. They also have brunch!
Dinner for four Storia Cucina was good, not great! Our server was terrific, don?t get me wrong, just the food was a bit disappointing. The Caprese Tigelle was terrific, especially for four bucks at HH, but the Homemade Focaccia was a huge disappointment. My experience with focaccia in the past has been one of a lighter color, airy texture, and made for balsamic/olive oil dipping. What I encountered Storia was a very dense, grey in color (almost non-appetizing) ?heavy?bread that simply should have been a meal in itself, it was just tooooooo heavy. The meatballs were tasty and the pizza was ok, I just wish this would have been a 5 Star experience, (for a meal costing $185.00 for four) it wasn?tunfortunately.
