Jack’s Bbq Bellingham

I do believe Jack's is closed. I liked it's meals the two times I visited. What us occurring in Bellingham is that snall independent businesses have a difficult time renting the huge rental spaces. Building owners need to be more creative to offer smaller affordable rental spaces for main street entrepreneurs.

Some good ol ' bbq. The restaurant is in a nice big and open space in downtown Bellingham.Kind, quick, and attentive service. We were helped right away, seated, ordered, and got our food within 15 minutes of being there on a Friday night impressive! The server was nice to orient to how they slow cook their meat and do Texas style bbq. I got the double trouble (brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and beans), tipsy sweet tea , and queso and chips . LOVED everything. Queso was delicious, the drink was sweet but strong, and the meat their homemade sauce was excellent. Only thing that was off was the brisket was a little dry they claim their meat doesn 't need sauce, but I needed some for that brisket. I look forward to my next visit and I hope to try their happy hour special. See pictures for details!

The guy working was super friendly and gave great recommendations. Food was good; pulled pork a little dry *for me* but I also don't put sauce on it. Hubs said it was great. Over all good and we will be back. Don't go expecting a cheap meal. The location was good. Worth trying and I am very fussy. :

Very disappointed with my dinner. Had brisket dinner with 2 sides and peach pie for two delivered (delivery was awesome! . Everything was great except the pie- tiny shallow tin with overcooked pie, maybe three pieces of actual fruit, greasy and looked like it had been sitting around for a long while. Don't get this, it's not worth $15 just for pie, for sure. Will probably find somewhere else for bbq, I was so looking forward to homemade peach pie...

Delicious Texas BBQ. I got the trio which has brisket, ribs, and smoked sausages. I wasn't a fan of the jalapeño cheddar link but the hot link flavor was ok. The collard greens are bomb and I'll definitely eat here again!The service also is really nice. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly and chatted us up several times. She was very interested to know if we were enjoying the food or not and even offered us to pick something else if we didn't like something. She also gave me a sample of one of the sides before ordering. Their BBQ sauce is also pretty amazing!
