Dragon River - Bellingham

The food here is not worth the $60 price tag; it was just okay. The restaurant clearly needs remodeling, as it looks quite dirty. Additionally, they don't prepare traditional Chinese food correctly. When I asked about certain dishes, they didn’t have the answers I needed. Overall, I expected better quality food and service, as well as improved lighting. This place is in dire need of a complete overhaul, and it's a shame that it’s still in operation looking like this. Thank you.

That said, the food remains fantastic. The portion sizes are generous and reasonably priced, and the spicy dishes are genuinely spicy and incredibly flavorful. The woman who runs the place is wonderful; she's always friendly and helpful, which really adds to the charm of the restaurant. Out of all the Chinese eateries in town, Dragon River is easily the best!

Note: No Dining InsideThe food was really good I was surprised to find my favorite dish, Sichuan style fish, here so I was very excited to get it! The lady who works here is very friendly and nice. There is a nice waiting area inside to wait for your food as well. Pricing is fairly good/cheap sided.

Here is the deal, the food is worth it. Get past the service. Unless it has changed, its take out only. Probably for the best.I really enjoy the spicy items on the menu.Spicy Chicken is my favorite item.
