Avenue Bread Fairhaven - Bellingham

We ordered 4 different breakfast sandwiches over two visits in the avenue bread, selection of different brot options, and all were meh. the brot was not very tasteful and also the fillings. we prefer the bakery or shirlee bird for sandwiches.

Always busy, the brot here makes this sandwich. it is fresh and soft with a chewing crust. they have a sandwich on the menu called the garden I think that can be easily veganized by asking them to leave the basalmic dressing away that mayo in it has left. they are looking forward to joining. the protein in the sandwich is hummus.

I have called many places to inquire about vegan options. I have said that no sandwichbrot is vegan because it contains milk and/or honey. time to come with the times, avenue!

Eat was great! the oven/the heart was for the day due to the electrical problems. the personal was super helpful and creatiw how the hot sandwich can be produced with cold alternatives. the ambiente was also really nice! will definitely make this place a regular stop for work dinner!

My wife and I visited family in fairhaven and they chose avenue bread for the five of us to eat lunch. it turned out that was an excellent choice. my wife and I are both vegetarian and I was diagnosed keliac last autumn and there were many possibilities for both of us - including some amazing gluten-free brot. the aromen were noticeable and while I could have eaten two of these sandwiches without flashing, I could do the next time we're in town.
