Ordered the Acai bowl. Was served fresh and yum. A good variety of fruit. Enjoyed the passionfruit difference. Granola was more of a fruity packet mix but satisfying.Coffee was a little blah. My double shot flat white was just so strong due to the barista not pouring the milk correctly. Was all foam, not enough milk. Asked for more milk but it just wasn't enjoyable.Friend got poached eggs. They weren't runny but not rock solid. She couldn't be bothered to tell them... but said they were just ok. Everything else was good. Avo on toast was generous. Nice addition to Belfield area whose strip of shops is getting trendier each month. Nice fit out and trendy. Went to the toilet only to notice the nice courtyard. Nice big wooden tables. Would have liked to sit out there if we were told or invited?? Can't see it from the front so didn't know it was there. Maybe something for staff to ask customers upon arriving?
The presentation of the dish is appealing. It is fresh and nutritious, consisting of smashed avocado, fresh tomato, and pomegranate drizzled with molasses. The dish is complemented perfectly by the addition of rocket, making it a healthy and enjoyable choice.
With exposed brick walls, a well appointed bar and London references throughout the menu, Bricklane N12 is a somewhat unexpected find in Belfield among the casual fast food outlets and barbers and hairdressers. The self-proclaimed espresso wine bar offers Campos coffee that is strong and floral, and the baked goods are made on-site, including an intriguing sounding scoffin (a cross between a scone and muffin). I'm a big fan of breakfast and there's plenty on the menu to tempt. A return visit is definitely in order.
It's a small local cafe that you could miss whilst driving by but it's an absolute hidden gem. Please look for it because you won't regret it. They have scrumptious food, very friendly staff and an eclectic rustic ambiance. Being a family run business they make all the customers feel welcome and at home. This is my go-to Cafe for brunch and even coffee on the go. Definitely worth a visit or two or ten :
