It was our first visit , tried their chaats tea and Gulab Jamans. I can say all three are the best we have tasted in Ireland. I specially liked the seasoning on the prawns , a treat for you taste buds. I have ordered from here a few times before but we usually got a few small plates to have a mix. This time I was getting a main dish for myself, Chicken Chettinad being one of my favourite Indian dishes which I’ve tasted from many different establishments. Well let’s just say that Street by Sunils version sent the other ones packing. When ordering it I noticed they described it in brackets as Real Madras and I was wondering is this going to be extremely hot, I do like spicy but was a little hesitant as I wouldn’t normally order a Madras, mainly because there are so many other exciting dishes to try. This Chettinad was stunning, the spice was there full of flavour but with a warm taste rather than numbing the tip of your tongue Now it is a bit more expensive than your typical takeaway from a restaurant but the dish itself was not typical, you do pay a little more for superior quality, I dropped them a star because of the Naans, a bit too chewy. Everything else, the rice, poppadoms and dips were excellent. If you want to treat yourself definitely try here, but if you love Indian cuisine you should try it anyway. The food is great but the quantity of daal for 18.25 eur is very less. Its a side portion for the price of full portion.
