Not a super great shop. I got a breakfast sandwich called the startup or something and it was microwaved to heck and had exactly one strip of bacon. Just not a super quality place.

I've gone to Ava Roasteria in downtown Beaverton for years, and I find myself more and more often here at Sauvie Island Coffee business hours allowing. Love the atmosphere here plenty of light and air, and the coffee shop is never crowded. Love the caramel candy, and Laurelwood beer on the menu is a hit!I hope working hours can be extended someday. The shop closes at 4 on weekends, which means I'm likely to continue my coffee session at Ava...

I tried this place for the first time a little bit ago. The coffee was really good! My barista Lou was super sweet and helped me pick out a new drink to try with caramel and oat milk (the gays get it). They even gave my dog Chester Copperpot Martinez Moore a pupcup! The one singular complaint I have is that I just wasn't a huge fan of the furniture and wall color. The art was cool but the overall atmosphere lacked. It kinda felt like my dentist office? I just feel like if you're a cute coffee shop in Oregon your space should be cute too! That's all I'll still be coming back bc the coffee slayed though.

Great locally owned and female owned coffee company. They roast all of their coffee in-house, by hand, in small batches. I appreciate their quick and friendly service and high quality coffee pastries. You can’t leave without trying a toasted Marionberry empanada!
