Izakaya Kaiten Sushi - Beaverton

This is a fantastic conveyor belt sushi restaurant! Happy hour runs from 5 PM to 9 PM, and all plates are just $1.50 each. The chefs are also willing to prepare sushi that isn't on the conveyor belt for the happy hour price! The seating is quite unique, featuring large, comfy benches. The bar stools are another excellent choice since they allow you to order directly from the chefs and receive fresh sushi more quickly. I highly recommend the Crunch Spicy California Roll during happy hour—it’s only $1.50 too! This place has quickly become one of my go-to spots for dining out, as you can enjoy a variety of plates without breaking the bank.

I had a pleasant experience at Izakaya. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the chefs proactively asked if we wanted to order anything from the menu, which was a refreshing change. The sushi quality is average, as they rely heavily on imitation crab and canned tuna, but they do use these ingredients effectively. Don’t go in expecting gourmet sushi; however, if you’re looking for a quick meal with good service at an affordable price, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

I'm not sure what the other reviewer meant about $2-3 per plate; it's similar to other conveyor belt sushi places where the prices range from about $1.50 to $3.00 per plate. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and the sushi is really good for conveyor belt sushi. The decor is minimal but clean. I was just disappointed when my lunch breaks changed to 10 AM and they didn't open until noon! This will always be my favorite sushi spot in Beaverton.

One of my favorite sushi spots. The sushi is delicious and fresh and the restaurant is nice and clean. The chef and staff are also very friendly. Do yourself a favor and order some Mushroom Bombs. They are DELICIOUS.

Their tempura is so good. Definitely only eating in at Izkaya because they charge for to-go containers if you do take out- which is quite the bummer. But, the sushi is fresh and tastey. I only eat the veggie kinds and they do it right!
