Ponderosa Steak House - Beaver Falls

The food here is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s always one of my go-to places when I’m in the area. The buffet is excellent, and the steaks are cooked to perfection upon request. They also offer a great lunch special for seniors at the buffet that includes a drink. I just wish it weren't so far away, but I’m more than willing to make the trip for a delicious meal. I will definitely return in the future!

I've been here with my husband for years. There are some good waiters who seem to check back with their customers often, but in the last few years we have experienced long waiting times before a waitress would come to our table to get our drinks. It is disturbing when we sit directly near the beverage area and at MANY events it will be between two and four waiters's only BS... for a long time. We need to go forward where you pay to send them are waitress. Too often there are no rollers in the bar. The waitress has to stop talking so much and waiting for her tables.

The experience was decent. The buffet selection was somewhat lacking, but the dishes that were available were quite tasty. There were plenty of excellent dessert options to choose from. I must highlight the waitress who served us tonight; she was exceptional. Although I can’t recall her name, I remember she was from the Dominican Republic, and she worked hard to keep everything tidy!

The variety is very BASIC. The wings seem to be the only thing worth a notable mention on the bar. I ordered the buffet and the pork chop which turned out to be boneless, and not evenly cooked. Lots of Senior's frequent this place, and it seems to be comparable to the closed down Fire Mountain. It totally lacks ambience and obviously reflects the management style. I would suggest being a little more creative with the menu. Chicken and meatloaf were pretty much it in the meat department. Totally no variety. Make food desirable and enticing. Just because it's cheap don't mean it should lack quality. I wanted to ask for a refund, but didn't want the stress.

This was our first time back in about 15 years and I remembered why we stopped going there. None of the food had any flavor. None. It was like eating flour paste with different shapes and textures. Truly horrible. Our bill for 3 people was $50 for bad food. It was also freezing cold in the restaurant. I was wearing a sweater and had to put my coat on while I waited for my husband to finish eating. I will say there was a lot of terrible food a large variety of it on the buffet. But it was all bad.
