Howard Johnson By Wyndham Beaumont

This restaurant is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! I thought Wyndham was a decent hotel brand, but the experience was very disappointing. Both non-smoking rooms I booked smelled strongly of smoke. The bedding in both rooms had stains on them. The amenities on the property were old and outdated. I would not recommend staying at this hotel, especially for families with children.

Rooms are clean. the beds are beautiful except that there are large kisses instead of small ones. water hot. the breakfast was great, so we're a co-worker. will remain

Front desk was very rude. First gave us room 214 when I opened the door it looked like someone was still occupying the room! Went back to the front desk and gave us room 218 room is disgusting. I have stayed at a lot of hotels but this one BY FAR is the worst! Room wasn't cleaned properly. Super thin blanket. Carpet was damp and disgusting. Security was cussing and screaming at 2 am. Will never EVER stay here again. Contacting corporate in a bit. This is unacceptable!

The front desk staff was very nice and courteous. The king room was inexpensive and the space seemed clean. There was a large desk and wardrobe but no table to eat at.. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was already on when I got there. That was nice.Several light switches didn't work leaving the room partially dark. There was a coffee maker and coffee making supplies in the room but the glass carafe was missing. I thought that was odd. More importantly, I didn't feel safe after dark when I had to go out to my car. Several guys obnoxiously cat calling and yelling obscene things from the second floor walkway made me wish I were somewhere else. I only stayed one night. When I dropped my keys off early the next morning the cops were there making an arrest and several ladies were yelling.. I didn't ask what happened. It was past time to go! There was a nice breakfast set up but I just dropped my keys and grabbed a black coffee on my way out the door.

The women at the front desk were very impolite and acted as though they did not want us there. The room looked decent from the outside, but upon further inspection, it was dirty under the bed. I will not be staying at Howard Johnson again. They need to replace their unfriendly staff at the front desk in order to improve the guest experience.
