My husband and I have been so surprised that we have never been here, especially since wise, 5 minutes from Beacon for almost 3 years. We came here once to eat but didn't even know that the concert hall existed. We love live music and never knew this place existed at all. But that was really great. Super Chill loved sitting and enjoying music and being able to eat when we wanted. The band Prognosis was great, they were a Pink Floyd cover band. Def would see her again and will definitely come back to Town Crier to see another show because this place is so cool.
My wife and I signed up for dinner and the Saturday evening show at Towne Crier Cafe in Beacon, NY. The menu had many constants, but every week you might find a few new and different delicious meals. This night I chose Sesam Crusted Ahi Tuna. It was great. My wife had the mushroom Ravioli. It was also very delicious. To dessert, I had the carrot cake. Wife had Fudge Brownie. We both stole our desserts with a vanilla ice bucket. These rounded the meal nice. The show was very good. Two popular folk artist, singer; Vance Gilbert and Christine Lavin. The individual sets were fun and entertaining. The show area Towne Crier Cafe is a very beautiful venue. We recommend early reservations at 6:30 or 7:00. It can be busy. Show started at 8:30.
First time here the other evening for a musical performance. The performer was other worldly. The room had perfect sound for the world class performer and voice that knocked us all off our feet. The food, drinks and service were outstanding on their own. In conjunction with my date and the music... a bucket list evening
We loved this pet friendly local joint. Live music, friendly staff, and a delicious menu. We went on Father's Day Sunday and we had a blast! Our server Jaimie was great! She recommended a few things was very attentive without being intrusive. We had the Jambalaya, the Greek salad, and the Shrimp in garlic sauce. Everything was delicious. The rice in the Jambalaya was to drool for. The prices are very much NYC prices, but they are worth it. Greg the manager was also very friendly and was very helpful in helping us get back our keys that we forgot. I wish I could give them a 6th or 7th star for that. Will definitely be back when we're back in Beacon. 100% Recommended.
