The Hausse At Central Square

The atmosphere is what people would dream to be in, a calm, happy environment. The employees are super nice and the customer service is beautiful and they are really funny. The food is delicious, you get what you pay for. The coffee is awesome. And as far as Customization options, it's super great. I got the caramel macciotto and it's delicious and just right, not to strong or sweet. The grilled cheese and chicken salad is savory, crispy, buttery, mmmmmmmm! Their play place is very good for the kiddos and the walls keep the sound of kids playing from being too loud. You're gonna love this place. Pass this review around, do everything to get these guys the traction they deserve.

I really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I was very disappointed. Much like the other reviews, the food was overpriced for the quality of it. The teenager who was wearing glasses they had running the desk was extremely passive aggressive. It took over an hour to get our drinks and food. They also kept forgetting parts of our order and other parts of it was wrong. All of this was “resolved” by the extremely passive aggressive worker. She was moving incredibly slow to get one blueberry muffin to our table. It took one hour for us to get the one blueberry muffin and the one macaron they forgot about. The prioritization of the orders made absolutely no sense either. I saw people whose large orders were placed at the desk after me get their orders way before I ever got mine. There’s a whole glass perimeter between the play area and the coffee area, which some of the parents utilize to leave their older children in there and not pay attention to them. It was my first and last time in this place. We’ll stick with Cup of Joy off of Lee Street in Baton Rouge from now on. The whole experience there is light years better than this place.

I’m a nanny and this was a perfect place to take the little one under my charge.Fun was had by all!!!!

Every time I go there it’s a disappointment. A disappointment at myself for going again, and overpaying for microwave food.Today I ordered a flatbread and even though I hate sending things back, I had no other choice. The cheese was not melted and it was cold. I sent it back and now it’s put in the microwave onde again and it’s soggy. Service is always poor, as you have to stand there and wait for the kids to realize you are needing help.I used to love this place, but ele we since Daniel and the crew left, it has been a disappointment after disappointment. Not going back.

Super clean restaurant restroom with friendly, local staff! They offer fresh coffee and mixed drinks. The food was great, ordered a turkey sandwich.? ?
