The Bulldog Baton Rouge

Really cool place, allows dogs inside, which is awesome on hot days. Have the Cuban sandwich, onion rings and classic burgers with a clean burger patty for our fur baby. Food was good not amazing, but good and it went well with the beer, had two milk stouts and a brown all from Louisiana breweries. They were all pretty good, but preferably the Brown from Low Down Brewery. I'm sorry the lack of good inscription in haste was on a long trip back to Florida. 4 stars for eating typical bar food, but the beer menu is extensive, but overflow with sours and Ipa 's. Really nice outside door and lounge type area.

Definately a bit on the higher priced side for drinks, Foods decent enough. It is a bar after all not a restaurant. The most interesting bit of it all was the beer wall and the fact there's tvs in the bathroom scrolling thru GIFs and memes.... Weird but cool

We went here for the first time and will definitely be back. I was not prepared for the experience, and so was put off by the ordering experience. (It's much like at an English pub but instead of ordering from the bartender, you order at a separate counter). It wasn't what we were looking for that night, but we will go back on a night when we just want to talk and be left alone. The food was ok. So were the drinks. I like that it is pet friendly.

The food was good. I think I'm just getting too old for this drunk, young 20 year old college kids crowd. There's no hostess, so you sit wherever you find. You order drinks in one section and order food at another window... inconvenient.

Service was great especially in these covid times. Great beer selection. However, the 3 stars fall apon managment. I ordered some great beer and some wings. When the wings arrived I was extremely disappointed. I have been craving wings all day and when they were presented to me, I was embarrassed. Not for me, but for the servers having to serve them. I promptly ordered the steak quesadillas which turned out to be an amazingly good dish. The wings however were the size of a pigeon. My server spoke with management about it and they refused to take it off my bill. I was told because of the size they had added more to my order. Working for small little bits of meat on a bunch of adolescent wings is not the same as enjoying proper sized buffalo wings. Overall happy with the place and service. Won't recommend the wings anytime soon.
