Sushi Yama - Baton Rouge

The BEST Sushi in town. FRESH!!!! Try the Yama Sampler. It's not in the menu. We get it every time. The plus a special role is everything you need for 2 people. If you are really hungry, then add a regular size role like the salmon avacado roll or a spicy tuna roll etc. I'll never get the Yama Sampler. It's the best fish you'll ever eat. Tina, yellow dick and salmon. It is located in a truffle oil and another in a very light citrus and in a slightly spicy sauce with freshly cut avacados and pine nuts. All three are amazing. No rice. The best. Keep the sauces to dip your rolls.

Loved this place so much! The pineapple sake was a surprise and delicious! We had a friend with us with a shrimp allergy and the waitress and staff were happy to accommodate. I'll definitely visit again when in BR.
