Mike Anderson's Seafood - Baton Rouge

The service at this restaurant was outstanding. The appetizer was exceptional, but the real standout were the chargrilled oysters - they were amazing! The house salad was also very good. However, I wasn't a fan of the crawfish etouffee. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained overall.

There was a lot of excitement surrounding this restaurant, but it ultimately did not meet my expectations. My coworkers and I sat at the bar, where only half of us were served drinks immediately. Another bartender eventually came and served the rest of us. I ordered four fried oysters to start, but they were fried too hard and burnt. They did not charge me for two of them. My main meal arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but unfortunately, the appearance and taste were not appealing. The dish was greasy. I ordered the Guitreau Salad and double baked stuffed.

During our visit to Baton Rouge while staying at a local Airbnb, we dined at this restaurant which left us very disappointed. The menu was limited and they were unable to accommodate even small requests for changes. We asked if we could order a large bowl of seafood gumbo and a chicken gumbo and have them mixed together, but they said they couldn't add chicken and sausage to the seafood bowl because everything came pre-packaged. Unfortunately, our request was not honored and the experience was disappointing.

I am soooo disappointed in Mike Anderson?s, will never be back. Food was Hor Ri Bleee . Tasted like blended versions of mush , beer, bell peppers and grease. The salad wasn?t even a go to. Severely let down. Management needs to counsel chefs ? just horrible????????was here in celebration of nephew?s graduation? I paid the check to not stir any trouble. We ended up grabbing some Taco Bell? I am still so upset and no one has reached out yet for this low review? new

Amazing food and service! We were fortunate enough to have Danielle as a server. She was the best waitress we could have asked for. She went above and beyond to make our visit amazing. I will request her every time we come back! The food was second to none and great atmosphere. From start to finish it was an amazing time!
