Drusilla Seafood - Baton Rouge

Our meal was generally quite good and met our expectations. The Hushpuppies were fantastic, as usual. My mom found the Seafood Gumbo to be very enjoyable, and my Grilled Tuna was excellent. It was served with a few extra hush puppies, a potato, and a sauce on the side. My boyfriend ordered the Shrimp Po-Boy, and while it was decent, he requested no vegetables, yet the sandwich still came with lettuce and onions. Overall, I would rate Drusilla 4 out of 5 for our experience tonight.

The Grilled Chicken Pasta was lacking in sauce and flavor. The Kid's Combo Plate, which included shrimp and catfish, also fell short on taste. The Catfish Po-Boy and French fries were just average.

I absolutely love Drusilla's for their seafood dishes. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy until I tried the Steak Drusilla. Unfortunately, it was by far the worst steak I’ve ever had. The shrimp, mushrooms, and onions on top were cooked in a barbecue shrimp sauce (made with Worcestershire), which initially sounded appealing. However, the sauce was overpowered by vinegar and lemon, making it unbearable. I couldn't even finish the steak. A few days later, I had a steak from Chili's that was significantly better than the Steak Drusilla. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Stuffed flounder was perfectly cooked and very flavorful

Excellent! Everyone was hot and fresh. My favorite platter!!
