Coffee Joy - Baton Rouge

The coffee here is excellent, and the location is very convenient with outstanding service. Wheelchair accessibility is good, with no steps and street parking available nearby.

I've been living in Baton Rouge for a year, and my biggest challenge has been finding a local coffee shop where I can relax and enjoy myself. Coming from a large city like Phoenix, Arizona, I hadn’t had much luck until I discovered Coffee Joy. They exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll definitely be spending my weekends here for breakfast and coffee!

Update: The company responded to my review, noting that one of their menus does mention the extra charge for milk. That was nice of them. So officially, if you want to avoid being charged for your milk choice, it might be best to look elsewhere.

I got a hot lavender latte with almond milk, a red velvet frappe, and the chocolate waffles. The coffee was amazing, the frappe was good, and the waffles were so/so; nothing to hurrah over. Very cute latte art, I actually liked the music they were playing, very nice atmosphere, and the owner/ person working at the time was very patient and gave recommendations per request. Overall, super cute.
