The Lodge Coffee House - Bath

It was obvious the Cafe worker was really not very pleased to see customers! Mediocre Coffee, limited selection, not too tidy! Tried a second time a just about the same! Poor service etc!

There's always a warm welcome from the owner Lauren. Great coffee: espresso, cappuccino, lattes etc. Or ready made brewed coffee and teas. Eats range from muffins and breakfast sandwiches to soups and salads. Very tasty!

Light croissants straight from the oven greeted us yesterday morning. We could have had muffins or other delectables, all made in the cafe kitchen and all made with butter! Owner Lauren and her longtime pal, Isabelle, are always on hand to chat, to recommend, to bake, or to produce rich espressos or lattes (even some with green St Patrick's Day decoration). A communal table draws people together and enhances the ambiance. A very pleasant place to unwind.

Expresso, Americans, latte or whatever your taste is in coffee, you'll find it at the Lodge. They also have breakfast burritos, muffins, cookies as well as soup and sandwiches for lunch. All yummy!

The owner of the Lodge is lovely, and crafts a delicious flat white. You are also able to purchase Canadian hand made products, and coffee. Excellent Gifts.
