Cafe Bar Rosenkranz - Basel

I loved the ambiance and the place. But I was sick after...no need to comment on that i guess.

Restaurant ist sehr schön gelegen, der Service Angestellte jedoch, oder Besitzer soweit ich verstanden habe (die Dame war nett) war absolut frech. Ich hatte ihn damit konfrontiert, dass ich mich nach dem Essen sehr unwohl fuehlte und ein Glas Wasser wollte. Er konterte das mit einem wenig interessierten Blick und hat die Frau gerufen. Die Magenschmerzen bliebe, aber das Wasser kam nicht. Nur eine saftige Rechnung

It was obvious he wasn't happy. He treated us in a very unfriendly way and sent my husband back to the table without giving him the opportunity to order, but to say he saw us and he will come when he is ready. It's a pity that the café is very beautiful. The hard German owner would better look for another job.

The atmosphere of this small corner corner bar is very nice, and the hostess was friendly and smiling during my request. But why the mediocre evaluation you ask? Simply put, I'm always confused why a place like this is not included and...to understand those of us with lactose concerns. It does not need much to add milk substitute products to your offers and more than likely to open the place to a larger audience. Otherwise, this place could have rated very high.
