Capitol Creek Brewery - BASALT

Their beers were all great and the food was amazing. We had the Ruthenen sandwich and the Bison leaf. Both were perfect for a cool night in our hotel on the street.

Bison Fleischloaf and Sirloin Steak were both delicious. Dog-friendly terrace. Only 2 servers work today, but this did not prevent us from getting AMAZING service.

I wanted to choose a few beers to get our catererer for a party that my wife and I throw, and it felt like we made the staff uncomfortable all the time. Just tell me that you can't deliver kegs instead of trying to make us feel stupid, por favor. The whole place has a very business atmosphere and the beers were medium-street, so probably none of their brews would have chosen for the party anyway. Dinner was good! There are better breweries with friendly people to give your business in the area.

So the $7 Happy Hour Margarita was the draw, but the chicken-Tinga-Taco brings me back!

I had a good time at Capitol Creek Brewery. I didn't order food but smelling everything that was coming out of the kitchen made me hungry. The trout looked fantastic! I was here for the beer. And it did not disappoint. I ordered a flight and literally everything I had was delicious. They were busy, so the bartender didn't really have time to chat. But the beers here are recommended. Super nice place too.
