Ruby Slipper Cafe - Baron Rouge

I don’t know where to start! My husband is deployed and we met half way this weekend in Baton Rouge and wanted a nice brunch before we got on the road. The food is totally worth the wait! I got the bananas foster French toast and was thrilled with it! My picky-eater-son loved the French toast bites and chicken with the strawberry glaze. My daughter loved the coloring sheets (even stole her brothers to continue with the artistry). My husband got eggs Benedict. He graciously let me try them and they were the best I ever had! I love that they are on a biscuit. The owner was so sweet. If we ever go back, we are definitely stopping here!

One of the best pancakes I’ve ever had! The shrimp and grits were also stellar. Our server, Nikki was great and everything was fast and delicious!

Ruby Slipper does it again! First New Orleans and now this Baton Rouge location! Providing us with amazing food(shout out to the Bayou Shrimp Bene), amazing service (shout out to Nikki our server who was on top of it) and the enjoyable atmosphere. Our baseball team fams made it out and all were singing the praises of the kitchens staffs skills!
