The food was excellent and prepared quickly, and the owner (I believe) was very friendly. We had a nice little chat, and she even sent us off with a small treat. It was a fantastic find while exploring the city, and the sunflowers outside were beautiful.

I hadn't been here in over seven years and wasn't even sure if it was under the same ownership, but this place used to be my hidden gem during college—it was my go-to after a tough week. I looked them up again to recommend it to a friend, and seeing that they’re still thriving speaks volumes about their quality. Treat yourself to everything on the menu! You won't regret it.

I ordered a three-star pad Thai for my fiancée since our daughter would also be trying it. Unfortunately, the dish lacked the heat I was expecting; it tasted mostly sweet from the Thai sweet chili sauce. Overall, I would rate it just one star.

So sad about my experience here. We chose this restaurant due to the high average rating. Good: friendly service, beautiful place. BUT. Chickenkissen Thai, Spice? had noodles boiled and tasted from the stretched sweet and sour sauce. Unbelievable. I was hungry and tried to eat it, I really tried. I couldn't. Beef Pad Thai, Spice? was too spicy but cooked noodles at least! The same sweet and sour sauce taste problem. noodles, spices?3? had the wrong noodles (very thin) and tasted like tomato paste. Wrong sauce overall.

Definitely one of the better Pad Thai dishes I've had anywhere from Old Town to Winslow and in-between. The only downsides are how tiny the place is and how you pick up orders (I wish it was dine-in friendly) and also a slight language barrier, which I know isn't anyone's fault. I still got Pad Thai, it just wasn't the cashew version I was hoping for. Guess I'll have to order online next time instead to try the level 5 Cashew Pad Thai.
