Foley's Irish Pub - Bandon

We were just a little holding back to go here for some negative reviews. We went anyway and had a really funny time. The food was excellent, the service exceptional, and the portions were exactly the right size. My wife and I had the fish and chips and Shepard's cake. Both were incredibly good. They pour a perfect pint guinness and I discovered a great new Irish whisky...powers.

I had the chopped sandwich and it was *so good*. It was fresh and hot, and the mushroom sauce inside was a perfect game for meat, Swiss and sourdough. My wife had the Färsenmaische and said her sausage was the best. The bread pudding was very nice, with enough sauce to finish without disappointment. Staff were friendly and informative and service was prompt. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The food and atmosphere is fantastic. I only deduct one star because they were undermanned and that hurt the service. The waiter/bartender and waitress on hand were working their tails off though. No matter what, if you'd like some good food and a perfectly pulled Guinness you won't be disappointed.
