Broken Anchor And Grill - Bandon

Visited for dinner the other night. Staff was friendly and very helpful with their service and their insight as in what to order. We had the Ruben Spring Rolls, and the Steak Fingers for an appetizer, Outstanding! For our entrees, wife went with a Jalapeno Burger, she didn't share. I went with the Caprese Chicken Sandwich, I had to share. Again Outstanding!! Our beverages were, you guessed it, Outstanding!!! I had the Blackberry Bourbon and their local IPA. Wifey got the Rumchata Root Beer. While I had a post meal Makers Shot, the Wifey got a T-Shirt. The food was fantastic, the service was fantastic, the only sad part is this place is 500 miles from where we live. Do yourself a favor if your in Bandon, OR go get a drink and a bite to eat at Broken Anchor.

On vacation, we picked this place after a quick search because it had 4.4 stars and it was open. There were six of us and we tried the fish tacos, fish and chips, and the Caprese chicken sandwich. It was all very bland. I'm talking Zero seasoning. We did also try dirty fries and jalepeno popper egg rolls, which were decent, but not anything to crave. Some propper training in the kitchen on seasoning would go a really long way here. The fried fish was not crisp; it was very soggy and the breading fell off. No issues on service for us.
