Stovetop - Balwyn North

Funky little eatery that serves great food and great coffee. Lots of options for a quick snack or something more substantial.

I have been to Stovetop twice over the last 2 months, and here are my observations.GOODFunky looking place.Coffee.NOT GREATVery very noisy.Service was erratic, with friendly service from wait staff, but counter staff were efficacious; given that the people volume had died right down when we went up to the counter to pay, and there was no-one else behind us, this was a let down. BADToday's salad (take away) was very salty, overdressed and value for money questionable.Service was slow, but is sort of acceptable as it was super busy, but we ordered 2 coffees, and one came a good 5 minutes after the other - not good.

A diverse menu that serves breakfast till 3ish. We loved it. I ordered the breakfast salad and others ordered pancakes which looked amazing!! There are lots of healthy choices for all diets in a clean and provincial looking place with great service! Loved it

The food was delicious and reasonably prices. The coffee was very smooth and the service was great. I highly recommend visiting stovetop on leicester street.

My friend suggested I try coming here for my daily take-away coffee, as 7 seeds always very busy and the coffee a bit too strong for me. The coffee here tastes great, and consistently pretty good. I always ask for extra hot, and have never managed to get a coffee here that is hotter than 'warm', so I find that pretty disappointing. Other than that, it always tastes pretty good.Always very busy, and staff are always busy. Have never had the food but from what I have seen it looks pretty good.
