Red Robin Gourmet Burgers And Brews

I usually enjoy dining at Red Robin, but my recent experience was quite disappointing. I waited nearly 15 minutes just to have my drink order taken. While my server was friendly, it seemed that despite there being only one other table in my section, they rarely came by to offer drink refills or check on us. The fries, which are usually a highlight, arrived cold and soggy when our food was served. To top it all off, I felt violently ill after leaving the restaurant. Although my burger was decent, the overall visit fell short of my expectations.

I’m giving this restaurant one star because the service was incredibly slow. It took about 40 minutes for the waitress to even come over and ask for our drink orders, and then we waited over an hour for our food to arrive. The menu had many options, but sadly, everything we ordered was disappointing, and the food wasn't even that good. I've been here several times with my family in the past, and it was always great, so I understand that restaurants can face staffing issues. However, there are places that still manage to provide good customer service, even when they're short-staffed, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case at Red Robin.

The bottomless fries used to be a highlight, but now they only bring out about eight at a time, making you wait for additional servings, which felt very stingy. Overall, it was truly disappointing. We also ordered the boneless wings, which came with plenty of pub chips; however, the sauce was just slopped over the chips, leaving them cold, and the dish was topped with raw pineapple chunks and jalapeños that didn’t seem to be incorporated into the dish properly. We tried adding blue cheese crumbles to improve it, but it was odd that the wings, pineapples, and jalapeños weren’t heated together before serving. The whole thing just fell flat. It filled a void, but I left feeling let down. At least there were some decent chuckles throughout the experience, and I have to commend the one girl who served us—she was great despite everything else being a letdown.

I enjoy the burgers, but the place seems down. Our table was broken and had a significant slope. The bathrooms are rough. The water has a strange chemical aftertaste, maybe the cleaning agent. Very difficult to get a refill on the bottomless pommes. I asked several people and took at least 20 minutes.

This place was great, it was super clean and the staff was very nice. Food takes like 10 minutes which is great if you meeting with friends to catch up. Their prices are transparent and you can also order and pay at the mini table kiosk too
