Mountain Mike's Pizza - Bakersfield

I was skeptical about coming here. I've been to a few locations over the years and have had mixed opinions and experiences. This location was by far the best. The customer service was top notch. It was clean. The prices weren't horrible and comparable to most pizza places, and beer was cold. My only complaint was the size of the game area. That's my favorite place of a pizza place and it's just small. Great pizza and experience though..

This place has problems. Edit: I'll be a little more specific in my review. We went for a little league team dinner and were advised to send our order in early, before we got there, which we did. Went to the register and checked in and they had our order in their system and I was told it would be out in a bit. Hour later I went and checked on it and they couldn't find the order so they just handed us two pizzas (we ordered one) that had been sitting on the kitchen pass through and were not hot anymore. The employees were nice and apologetic but they just don't seem to have any idea what's going on.

Giving up on the Mountain Mike's lunch buffet after a series of disappointing visits. These guys were great prior to 2020. They now appear to be prioritizing delivery orders over their lunch buffet and almost never keep up.

A year ago there were and honestly did not have the best experience. But that can be anywhere and I love Berg Mike's pizza, so I definitely wanted to give it another chance. Not disappointed. I tell you that the best you can do is order for take-out and meet the people who work there because they are very friendly cool people. The pizza is always made great. I see a lot of reviews on waiting time, but I had never waited more than 30min and found honestly You're okay at any moment, how brilliant the pizza is.
