Amazing Food, But a Few Issues Need Attention I hope this review finds the owners and management well. I am writing to express my overall delight with the culinary experience at your sushi restaurant, but also to highlight a couple of significant issues that need to be addressed. First and foremost, your food is absolutely amazing. One standout dish is the roll wrapped in foil, served on fire. This dish is fantastic, and the flavors are simply exquisite. Every bite was a testament to the skill and passion your chefs bring to the table. However, there are two critical issues that I feel compelled to bring to your attention: 1. Water Quality : The water used for drinking and iced tea has a very strong, chemical taste. This unpleasant flavor is quite off-putting and detracts from the otherwise excellent dining experience. Ensuring clean, fresh-tasting water is a basic expectation that needs to be met. 2. Server Attire : During my recent visit, one of the servers was wearing gray leggings that were extremely tight and somewhat transparent. While I understand that your dress code is all-black attire, this deviation was noticeable and uncomfortable for diners. It's important that all staff adhere to a professional dress code that reflects the restaurant's standards and maintains a comfortable dining atmosphere for all patrons. I hope these issues can be addressed promptly. I am a fan of your restaurant and would love to adjust my review to reflect an improved experience once these concerns are resolved. I love that this sushi place is downtown. I came down from Texas and brought my parents here. The food was delicious, so fresh and the service was great! Totally recommend!

They've updated the place so it's very nice. The patio is beautiful and a nice place to sit when the weather is good. Service was excellent, our server was very attentive and the food came out quickly, it came while we were eating our appetizers. The food was tasty and very fresh. We got a few rolls that I forgot to take a picture of because we were so hungry. But trust it was great. The crab stuffed mushrooms are a must have. Easily my favorite place for sushi in Bakersfield.

Good service. Tables for 2 were too cluttered, please remove the wine menu and adverts after orders are placed. Music was loud and distracting, like dance music. Portions are generous.

Horrible service. My family and I come here from time to time and we enjoy the food but the service is hit or miss. However this time was the worst service we ever received. My mom ordered what she always gets, which is a veggie roll deep fried approximately $12ish.and the chef refused. She wanted her to get the vegetable tempura roll which is $17 instead. I don't know if it was either laziness from the chef in not wanting to do deep friend or if she wanted to get more money out of us. Regardless, the hostess was not much help and had no sense of service in her. We're paying customers and they acted as if we were getting the food for free. And No friendly face from the server. If you want decent sushi but horrible service, come here.
