Food is fabulous; wait staff knows us, as I've been going there since the 1960s, so we always get excellent personalized service. We always look forward to our next visit!

Best Mexican food in the state!. I've are here for 20 years. Brought family and friends. Alot of memories held in that building. Best Mexican food I've had anywhere. And their salsa is my favorite! Food is reasonably priced. I recommend carne asada followed with deep fried ice cream!

AWESOME. The place is awesome, my family has been going theres since they opened including all 28 of my years!

Good Food Margarita's.....BUT...... So my wife and my daughter (21 y/o) go have dinner at El Sombrero tonight. The food was great. The margarita's are KILLER. You really only need 2 of them to get the party going. Only issue we had was the server. He was great up until the end of the service. My daughter was not feeling well since it was 107* outside and we spent the majority of our time up at the Kern River. So she didn't eat much of her food. The waiter asked if she was eating for two. Really??? Is that what you ask people? Now my daughter is not skinny as a rail. She has an extra 5 or 6 lbs on her. Again, really? I thin waiters need to take a lesson is STFU and do your job. Sad part is I really like the food but I will no tolerate ignorance. Not in this day and age. So if your into being totally insulted by the waiter this place is for you.

I've been coming here since 1973, and everything is pretty much the same as I remember except for the prices... IMO, they have the best tacos ever! Super fast service ! Love this place!
