Dewar's Candy Shop - Bakersfield

My children and I had a great experience at Dewar's for the first time. The store was clean and the servers were quick and friendly. One of my kids had a single scoop of biscuits n cream, while the other had a kids' sundae with birthday cake ice cream and marshmallows. I had a small sundae with caramel and nuts. While everything was tasty, I realized today that I am not a big fan of ice cream.

I used to enjoy Dewars, but I was disappointed with the process of ordering shakes or ice cream. Customers have to order at the candy counter and then wait at the ice cream counter for their order to be filled, which I found to be quite odd.

Everyone was so friendly. Definitely taking back more sweets than I need to Texas!
