California Pizza Kitchen At River Walk

My cousins invited me to join them for dinner, and since I'm not particularly fond of pizza, I expected it to be another dull pizza night. To my surprise, CPK has a lot more to offer than just pizzas. The salad platter was a fantastic appetizer, and I followed it up with salmon and corn. Overall, it was a great menu with plenty of non-pizza options.

I would like to update my review and apologize for the one-star rating I initially posted. I focused on other aspects and overlooked the star rating. I now give it three stars, and I’ll explain why. The customer service was phenomenal, and our food arrived quickly. We particularly enjoyed the bread with seasoning and olive oil. However, my overall satisfaction was affected by the portion sizes. The pizzas we ordered were quite small for the price. My children and I love pizza, and although we appreciated the freshness of the ingredients, we all felt that the pizzas could use more flavor and seasoning.

I dined there yesterday and received exceptional service from Josue, an outstanding server. I've never experienced such great service anywhere before! He truly excels at his job, and he deserves a raise.

The waitress waited almost an hour and the waitress had not even the courtesy to tell us how much longer she wanted to take to take our order. she had a big party, but had the time to ask two other tables whether they would order dessert and bring their controls, but absolutely ignored me and my son.

Food is pricey for the flavor they offer. Pizza was ok but both pastas were hard and had almost the same flavor
