They have pre-made sushi but they seem to taste fresh. I love the presentation but it doesn't leave a lasting impact on my taste buds. Wasabi's not too spicy and tasty.
It was my first time to drop by Wasabi Warriors last Wednesday and I was glad to discover that they have black rice as an option for the Fresh Salmon and Avocado roll. I used to see Wasabi Warriors at BGC but never got the chance to buy as it was still closed during those times. I would certainly go back to the SM North kiosk because it's nearer. The attendant is very welcoming plus, the business also properly applies senior discount for my dad. merrywanna.blogspot.com
From what we heard before, Wasabi Warriors PH uses only locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. It's freshly made by an alleged robot that can make around 500 rolls per hour. What we like about their sushi is that it's very convenient for on-the-go people like us. We actually just dropped by their stall and indulged ourselves with their sushi. One order is great for a quick bite. Add one more and it's filling. We had the Kani Salad Roll which we found to have a mushy, fish roe covered rice packed with crabsticks. I guess adding a lettuce in it makes it a salad filling for them. We honestly weren't fully satisfied with it. Good thing they included three kinds of sauces for us to enjoy. We liked their Wasabi mayonnaise as the burning sensation wasn't too strong. No nostrils flared up and no eyes cried after dipping sushi in it. The other we had was the Blazed Beef Pack. It came with the Blazed Beef Inside Out Roll and 2 plain inari rice. The Blazed Beef Inside Out Roll certainly made our mouth water as it has beef, a sweet brown sauce and Japanese mayonnaise. It goes well with the plain inari rice as it adds variation in terms of texture with the deep fried tofu skin. yogoandcream.com
