Agriturismo Pra D'mill

I have been here with my friend for the weekend and it was a perfect weekend. Being on the hill, surrounded by mountains making this place far from the chaos of city centers and giving you a perfect relaxation times. I enjoyed my time having fresh air and looking at beautiful view while having wonderful meals with organic materials. Nice and smiling people, warm atmosphere and delicious meals! One day I want to make a birthday party here!

We went to this beautiful, secluded mountaintop refuge with Italian friends and our respective three-year-olds and finally realized the agriturismo experience we'd been dreaming of. A four-course prix fixe menu (23E per person including wine) prepared and served by two multi-talented brothers and their parents included the best dishes we've had in our two month stay in the Piedmont. In brief: the appetizer featured four different dishes, more diverse and generous with vegetables than any appetizer we've had here; the second course, homemade pasta with intensely fragrant basil pesto/green beans/potatoes; the main course, melt-in-your-mouth braised beef (and I am not much of a meat-eater); and dessert, a lovely, wholegrain berry torte with coffee. The place also offers accommodations but we haven't stayed there since we are living right near by. Do note that the drive up is VERY mountainous and not paved all the way... an adventure for every sense. The agriturismo also neighbors a monastery that we are looking forward to visiting this Sunday.
