Spiess-Hutt'n - Bad Reichenhall

We had a late lunch here on a rainy day. It's a small place, but very friendly. The food was tasty and extremely good value. Not a posh place but good for a satisfying, informal lunch.

By far the Spiess-Huettn in Bad Reichenhall is the best place to eat the traditional German fast- food Currywurst. This snack stall – while it may seem quite small on the first sight – suprises its guest with a heartwarming rustic ambiente and a staff-team that treats each and every visitor like a friend they love to have over for a visit. Immediately you feel welcomed, respected and taken care of. If you hadn't had the chance yet to try a traditional Currywurst I can truly recommend this place. BUT !!!! be careful when ordering a hot Currywurst. Or else brace yourself for a really hot experience ;

Currywurst Eccezionale. Personale cortese e velocissimo. Da provare la salsiccia col formaggio. Birra buonissima. Di certo il vero street food tedesco. Consigliatissimo.

Wenns mittags pressiert oder man einfach bei schönem Wetter eine Kleinigkeit zu sich nehmen möchte, ist die Spieß-Hüttn genau richtig. Im Stehen einen Spieß oder Scampi mit leckerer Soße, das hat was. Und die Freundlichkeit der Wirtsleut ist legendär
