Mr. Rick's - Avila Beach

I always love visiting this restaurant. It's my favorite spot on the main strip of Avila Beach. The ambiance, music, and drinks are consistently great, and the food arrives in no time. Although it can get busy, we never have trouble finding a table. We enjoy our meals, drinks, and even squeeze in some billiards afterward. Thank you! I'm looking forward to coming back soon!

Mr. Ricks has always been a favorite spot for locals, but recently they significantly reduced their menu, which is disappointing. Tonight, after we ordered drinks, we were turned away because we brought food from the farmers market outside. We've done this in the past without issue, but it seems Rigo InCharge changed the rules today without any signs or notifications for loyal customers. Not a good move on their part.

This charming little spot near the beach offers fantastic live music that was truly impressive. The open setting provides a wonderful view of the beach. It's a lovely place to relax and enjoy!

As a single solo traveler finding places that are both safe and fun can be a challenge. The whole crew at Mr. Rick’s and the custom house make it easy to let loose and have a good time. Most recently I was served by Angie, keith, and Austin and had the best weekend visiting my favorite place. The live music and fun atmosphere make this place more memorable. Through and through a great experience highly recommend.

This was my first time at Mr. Rick’s. We went with friends to listen to a local band. Band has nice area to set up and dance floor for 20-30 people. Indoor seating was all high tops. Plenty of outdoor seating. Food was good…went with my usual fare, fish tacos and they were very good. We also tried the clam chowder bread bowl which was tasty.
