Wienerschnitzel - Austin

I hadn't visited this place in years and thought it had closed down. I had to stop by and was disappointed that we couldn't eat inside because the dining room was closed due to a staff shortage. We ended up using the drive-thru, where the employee wasn't very friendly. However, the food was fantastic—just like I remembered! The corn dogs, chili dogs, and fries were delicious!

The buns are amazingly soft, and the corndogs have just the right amount of crunch. The employees are easy to understand through the drive-thru speaker, and they are very patient if you need some extra time to look over the menu. When I reached the pickup window to pay, a friendly young man greeted me, asked about my condiment preferences, and let me know that my order would be ready shortly. Everything is made fresh here! The woman who brought my food also checked on my condiment choices and handed me my order with a smile. You really can't beat the prices, either—my two corndogs only cost $3.88!

I visited for the first time and my chili cheese dogs were impeccable! Make sure to ask for onions if you'd like them, as they only add them upon request. My husband ordered the vegetarian hot dogs, and he was also pleased with his meal. His veggie dogs came topped with onions, pickles, peppers, and mustard. The fries were hot and freshly made. I recently learned that you can buy the Wienerschnitzel canned chili sauce for $5 a can at the restaurant.

This is my daughter's favorite place I do like the variety of flavors on their shakes! Mikayla is awesome! Great customer service and she tries to get your food out quickly!
