Wholly Cow Burgers - Austin

Wholly Cow is a unique blend of a retail store and a restaurant. The burger I ordered was perfectly sized—not too big and not too small—and in my opinion, it was the tastiest burger I've had in a long time. The fries were also fantastic. They offer their own homemade jarred salsas in various flavors that I'm eager to try. The shop area also has beer, wine, and other items available. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I truly regret not visiting sooner!

This is hands down the best burger I've ever had. The portions are generous, and the meat is outstanding! The fries are great too. It’s definitely a hidden gem. The owner is incredibly friendly. Both the kids and we left feeling happy and full. Fantastic food!

The service was decent, and the staff were friendly. I wasn't particularly impressed with the burgers; they tasted just okay. Some people mentioned that the onion rings were burnt, and I agree with them, but I think it may be due to using different frying methods. They did taste good, though. We also tried the Philly cheesesteaks, which were just okay. They had more of a gravy flavor and came with fries.

Delicious burgers! Not too fat! I recommend asking for one side of the Russian dressing sauce for diving your burger!

Best burger experience in years after cutting out bread. The portobello mushroom bun served up an excellent burger. Chef recommended avacado and it was a great add. House cut sweet potato fries were also excellent.
