The Highball - Austin

Went last night for my birthday party and Spence was our waiter. He was super attentive, funny and never missed a beat. We had an explosion and we are able to come and sing quickly!

A great place to hear great music! Friendly bartenders with great mixed drinks. You have a large dance floor and have a lot of bands that play big music that you two step too.

But WHY would have you a nice $100k stage sound system with ceiling-suspended video monitors-all for live stage karaoke and not use You regularly? Odd. (same size Las Vegas is full of even off-strip karaoke spots, while 'music capitol' Austin still sleeps stranger.

Good drinks and a fun atmosphere. Nice place to vibe. And they serve the same menu as the Drafthouse next door which is nice.

It's been years since I have been to the Highball, so long that the old building I remember has long since been demolished and there is a new iteration. I used to live in town and decided to return for vacation. Motown Mondays is well worth the cover and it was packed tonight.
