The owner of this restaurant is an elderly Vietnamese man who seems to be in a consistently bad mood and mistreats his employees. As a business owner myself, I strongly oppose such behavior towards a work team. My family and I used to visit every Saturday and would always leave a generous tip, but one day he came out and yelled at us, claiming we were not welcome. It appeared he was having a bad day and took his frustrations out on us, showing a clear lack of respect for customers. The owner's attitude is far from polite, and I cannot recommend this place. The service from the owner is absolutely terrible, and I cannot support a business that fails to treat both clients and employees with dignity. It’s important to remember that without customers and hardworking staff, businesses wouldn’t thrive.

This is definitely my favorite pho restaurant. Their fried rice is also incredibly tasty!

The ambiance has a classic feel, and it offers the finest pho in town.

We are a vietnamese couple and were excited when we saw this restaurant on TikTok described as an authentic “hole in the wall” Vietnamese restaurant. Coming from the West Coast and Houston, we didn’t have high expectations for Vietnamese food in Austin to begin with, but our dishes were almost not even edible. The pho is probably the safest choice, however I’d strongly defer my friends and family to Pho Phong Luu. The vermicelli dishes were incredibly dry and flavorless. I don’t really understand how they have obtained such high google ratings, but if you are expecting real, authentic Vietnamese cuisine I’d spend my money elsewhere.

Rice plate with Grill pork was delicious!! Workers are very nice, food came out fast and big portions!
