I absolutely love this place for their amazing grilled cheese and soup. During my visit today, the staff member who took my order was incredibly polite and took the time to answer all my questions. I wasn’t feeling well, so I ordered some soup to go. When my order was ready, they accidentally forgot an item, but the staff member who handled my order generously offered to comp it, which really made my day. I will definitely be returning more often!

They call themselves Soup Peddler, but so far as I am concerned, it is mainly *deception* that they are peddling.When the price of my purchase rang up significantly higher than the stated price of the item (even after taking sales tax into account), I thought I should examine my receipt closely.I saw there that, lo and behold, a 10% service charge had been automatically added to the price of my purchase.OMG, what kind of BS?And note, there is only one way to pay, plastic, because they don 't take cash. So there is no option to avoid paying this service charge, so--called, by paying cash.I don 't plan to visit this shady, unscrupulous establishment ever again.

I received my order and it's absolutely delicious! The freshness is evident in every bite. I really appreciate that they avoid using preservatives; it's simply great homemade soup! Just a note for those with dietary restrictions: it's dairy-free.

This place is really charming, with a great selection of wholesome and hearty dishes. My favorites are definitely the sandwiches and grilled cheese—so good that I always end up eating them before I remember to take any pictures!
