Quack's 43rd St Bakery - Austin

I ordered a graduation cake for my son and his girlfriend, and even though they both only wanted white cake (I'm a die-hard chocolate fan myself), the cake was incredible! The buttercream was light and airy, unlike the heavy or greasy ones I've had from other places. The team was also fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

Very tasty pastries and good coffee. I appreciated the attentive service by the cashiers. Parked in the lot next to it. Payment is convenient as well and they accept major credit cards and Apple Pay.

Two stars for the delicious baked goods. The espresso I ordered was just okay. The location is fantastic in a charming neighborhood area.The main issue here and why I believe Quacks will fail is the employees behind the counter are seriously rude and provide horrible customer service. They were rude to me and to the next customer in line.The employees need to learn basic customer service skills. I mean it is such an entry level position to fail at. They don't even serve food there. So why are you so troubled to put cupcakes in a box? The batista scalded the milk in my cappuccino.Upper Crust is so, so much better than this place. Makes me miss the Judy Wilcott era Texas French Bread and the Captain Quackenbush on the Drag.

This charming little bakery is fantastic! I'm especially fond of their Carrot Cake, which you can purchase either whole or by the slice. They offer a delightful selection of cakes, muffins, and Danish pastries as well.

The 'Eat Your Feelings' box weighs over a pound and a half and costs just $5. I picked one up yesterday because it was exactly what I needed. I'm still enjoying it today and I'm not even halfway through! It's the best value you can find. I've never had a bad experience at Quack's; it's the best bakery in town. My only problem is that there are so many amazing treats to try, and my stomach just can't handle it all!
