Houndstooth Coffee - Austin

Great coffee. I have an icy latte with an extra shot and it was a very good espresso draw. The staff was also very friendly and the service was quick. Looks like a great place to sit and do work as well but we were just through.

Best coffee and great baristas. You get what you pay for and I admire the reliability of Houndstooth. This is my favorite location and I think the original in Austin? Also I took a pic of someone else’s flavored latte drink cuz it’s pretty but I like Mike straight up espresso or a cortado

I'm a professional barista, and I have a coffee-only Instagram blog called Thamerscup. This coffee shop is very professional and deserves a try. I tried espresso and it was amazing and I even bought espresso cups.

Cortado was a bit on the watery side and didn't taste quite right. Lemon poppyseed muffin was dry and no one in the group really liked it.Other than that service is friendly and the place is super cute inside!

Americano was terrible. Tasted like fast food coffee. Service this morning was hostile. Grabbed cash and did not say word. The coffee has been decent in the past but very overpriced. Merit Coffee at the Triangle up the street serves better coffee and the staff are very welcoming.
