Habanero Cafe - Austin

The beef fajita meat here is the best I've ever tasted. This has long been one of my favorite restaurants, and the owners and staff make you feel like family. They remember you after just a couple of visits. I highly recommend this place!

I absolutely adore the shrimp tacos here. The staff are incredibly friendly; they even laugh at my dad jokes! The entire atmosphere, with both the staff and customers, feels like a big family. Everyone greets each other as they walk by. It's such a calm and inviting place.

The food is decent, but it has noticeably declined over the years. The service is terrible; the person at the front desk was quite rude. Additionally, I witnessed them ask a blind man to leave simply because he had a service dog. I can’t recommend this place.

The owner kicked out my mom because she has a service dog. Has absolutely no clue about rights for people with disabilities. Will never come back here due to their discriminatory behavior. It’s 2024, wake up and understand the law.

I go here all the time. Breakfast here is otherworldly. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Family run joint and they take damn good pride in their work. FYI the only alcohol served here is beer.
