Green Pastures - Austin

What a colossal waste! We had reservations here for 5:00 on Thanksgiving Day. When we arrived, they informed their last seats at 4:00. Seven people are looking forward to a special meal they never informed us. Never again will I apply this restaurant.

I happened to be walking by and noticed a stunning peacock outside.

Green Pastures was the ideal location for a Sunday brunch wedding. The venue honors the heritage of the home and showcases the natural beauty of Austin, complete with a family of peacocks wandering around. It's a historic space filled with intricate details, from the stunning woodworking to the elegant tiling and lighting, all tastefully updated to meet modern standards. The food and drinks are outstanding, and a special mention goes to the lively staff who truly embody the spirit of this remarkable establishment.

I really enjoy going there. The staff is very friendly, and the peacocks are amazing!

We went for Saturday brunch. The milk punch packed a punch and the fried chicken eggs benedict was delicious. The fried green tomatoes with crab salad was a great light meal, but we added biscuits and bacon to round it out and all were delicious. It is out of the way but worth the trip!
